Working for Walthamstow is Labour and Co-operative MP, Stella Creasy’s website giving information to local residents about campaigns , news and events related to the Walthamstow area.
The Wordpress template was customised to create a cleaner feel and make more efficient for users. It integrates a Google map of local wards, a wards section which tells people what’s going on in their particular area, a campaigns page which allows the public to keep up to date on Stella’s campaigns in Parliament and Twitter.
Stella is a prolific user of Twitter and therefore wanted to integrate social networking fully into the site. Stella’s own Twitter feed can be seen on the Homepage, as can feeds for #awesomestow and #walthamstow.
